Standards for The Body
Height:
- For candidates who are general, special needs, and OBC: 167 cms
- For candidates from the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir, the following requirements apply 160 cms for Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates.
- 160 cm for all candidates from Scheduled Tribes
Chest:
- For candidates who are general, sc, and/or obc: minimum height of 80 cm, with a minimum expansion of 05 cm, or 80 to 85
- Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, and candidates from Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir must be at least 78 cm tall with a minimum expansion of 05 cm, or 78 – 83 cm tall.
- Every candidate from a Scheduled Tribe Minimum expansion of 05 cm, or 76-81 cm, with a minimum height of 76 cm.
Medical Guidelines
Eye Sight
a) Unaided Visual Acuity (Near Vision)
N6 Better eye, N6 N6 Worse eye
b) Unadjusted visual acuity (Distant Vision)
Better eye received a score of 6/6.
c) Reflection
Any form of vision correction, including the use of glasses, is prohibited.
d) ISIHARA’s CP II Color Vision Device
Note: Binocular vision is necessary.
