Siliguri, March 28: A farewell ceremony for Mr. Abhijeet Roy, an assistant teacher in English was organized on the premises of ABC school yesterday. The school was decorated with flowers. All the students and some guardians were present at the ceremony. The farewell ceremony started at 11 am. Mr. Abhijeet Roy joined the school on 03/03/1985 and now he retired. The teachers, students, the members of the school managing committee, some local guests, and some ex-students attended the program. Many of them presented gifts to the retired teacher with their love and respect. Mr. B Paul, headmaster of our school said that Mr. Abhijeet Roy was an intelligent, sincere and dutiful teacher of our school. Mr. Abhijeet Roy became emotional to recollecting his experience and moments in the school. The students of the school performed cultural program. The program ended up at 3 pm with the wish of good health and long life for Abhijeet Roy.
