Delhi, June 5 : A blood donation camp was organized in ABC school yesterday. The activities of the camp were conducted by the NSS volunteers of the school. The camp was started at 10 am and continued till 4 pm. A drop of blood can save the life of a dying man. So, ABC school took such an initiative. A group of doctors from District Hospital came and conducted the camp. Three eminent doctors and five nurses operated the camp. They worked throughout the day to collect blood. The SDO of the city was the chief guest. Many others people and the students donated blood. Some teachers also donated blood. The doners were given juice and fruits after blood donation. After that the chief guest delivered his short speech on the importance of blood donation and congratulated everyone for organising this noble event.
